Deo Tibba Trek 5 Days & 4 Nights

Deo Tibba Trek
Overview

There are two fascinating treks South and North side of Deo Tibba. In this trek, we take the trail that goes North of Deo Tibba at Piang Neru, from where it provides a more clear view of Deo Tibba peak situated at an altitude of 6001m in the Eastern Pin Panjal range of the Himalayas. Lush green meadows carpeted with wildflowers as well as herbal plants grow abundantly here. A comfortable trek, the route is full of panoramic views along thick forest and alpine plateau to the Piang Neru. Piang Neru nullah or Jobri nullah is a principal tributary of the Hamta nullah.

From Jagatsukh/Banara we follow one of the best alpines walks with an untiring gradient to Sarotu Thach (Thach – meadow), Jogi dug, Rauli Kholi. Crossing the wonderful alpine plateau a breath-taking view of Deo Tibba appears with magical suddenness. Piang Neru is at about 3700 meters where lateral moraines of the Piang Neru glacier comes to an end. We walk to the source of Jobri nullah, just beneath the Deo Tibba peak on rocky terrain and glacier. Finally, we make our way through Marhi which is the favorite area of Shepherds, and the final descent to Jobri.
